课程简介： 本课程的开设是面对高职高专涉外经贸和管理类大专学生使用的专业英语课程，旨在提高学生在英语环境中从事企业活动和商务交际的能力。全书共16章，内容涉及企业、企业管理和商务活动的众多领域。所有课文均选材于英美等国今年出版的书刊和文章，内容与文字简洁实用、富有新意，具有较强的时代感。
课程教学目的：旨在传授学生从事国际商务所需用专业英语交流的基本知识和技能。通过本课程的学习,使学生基本掌握商务英语交流的基本技能,熟悉并掌握当代商务理念和国际商务惯例；进一步提高学生的听、读、说、写、译的能力，和在实际商务工作环境中应用英语的能力，使其能够在不同的商务活动中正确使用英语打好基础。
教学中应注意的问题：1、本教材采用了一些案例和采访记录以丰富体裁。教师应采用多种灵活多变、理论联系实践的教学方法，既让学生了解有关企业、企业管理和商务活动的基本知识，又要使学生在语言上与国际接轨，兼顾到专业知识和外语技能的应用。2、每课除课文外，均配有词汇和词汇学习、难点注释，以及与课文内容紧密结合的练习和补充阅读。

Objectives: To enable Ss to talk about business and social responsibility

Text:
Speaking: Ss work in pairs and rank requirements for successful relations between business and social responsibility.
Reading : Ss read through an article and get the general ideas of the passage. . Ss then read the text again and discuss the post-reading comprehension questions and the teaching points about the text.
